At just 9 years old, Regina LaFrance was violently sexually attacked at the hands of a pedophile Priest. With her childhood spirit and innocence callously taken from her, she endured years of guilt, shame, and depression. She felt like she had no voice - no one heard her.
Regina is an Author and recently released her book, Shayla: From Long-Buried Innocence to Emotional Freedom. Regina sits down and chats with us about her journey, the dark days, the despair, and the defining moment she decided to reclaim her power and in her words “Retire the Victim Badge”.
Regina is on a worldwide crusade to urge parents to not only listen to their children when something appears wrong, but also look for any non-verbal signs. Also through her book, she’s sending a loud and clear message to those suffering through trauma that they DO have a voice, and they DO matter.
