Traci Neal is a performing poet and professional writer from Columbia, SC. After failing the certification exam 10 times in her pursuit to become a certified elementary school teacher, she rediscovered that God had a different plan; and so her journey began as a poet and writer, taking her from cleaning toilets to the New York Times!

Traci also talks about how writing and poetry has served as her creative outlet from a childhood of bullying and low self-esteem.
